About the Recipe

These delicious turkey sausages are lower in saturated fat than regular sausage and boast a whopping 12 grams of protein per patty making them a protein powerhouse. Pair with and egg and some fruit or veggies and you've got a healthy, balanced breakfast to start your day with. I also love serving these for dinner in a homemade wrap with veggies and hummus. Winner, winner, turkey dinner!

Ingredients

  • 3 lb ground turkey

  • 1 egg

  • 1 Tbs brown sugar

  • 2 tsp kosher salt

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tsp sage

  • 2 tsp fennel

  • 2 tsp fresh thyme

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

Preparation

  1. Mix all spices into the egg. Mix in ground turkey. Make 20 patties and cook in a small amount of oil for about 2 minutes on each side or until cooked all the way through.
