About the Recipe

This warm cup of anti-inflammatory goodness is the perfect addition to your bedtime routine. Turmeric (with black pepper) and ginger are both powerful anti-inflammatory spices. You can mix 1 tsp with your favorite milk or milk alternative for a cozy treat in the afternoon or have as part of your wind-down self-care routine. I add a pinch of ashwagandha at night for extra relaxation.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs Turmeric powder

  • 2 Tbs Ground Cinnamon

  • 1 Tbs Ginger powder

  • 3/4 tsp Black Pepper

Preparation

Mix all of the spices together and store in an airtight container.


To prepare Golden Milk Tea, mix 1 tsp spice mixture with 1 cup milk or non-dairy milk alternative and heat. Mix thoroughly-spices will settle to bottom of mug so you may need to stir or swirl the milk a few times.
